Haven't heard of such a unit - nor can I remember any reference to such a unit in the last couple of years of postings.
You might take some measurements and sketch out what you are looking for and then try haunting a few of the motorcycle junk yards to see what you can turn up.
The " pan" or seat base on the Savage is pretty narrow in keeping with the lines of the bike - and it may be difficult to find any seat that will accomodate the low rider seating position with a twin seat platform.
I am 6'4" and also squirm a bit on the present seat - but I have always found that I could find the grove for long rides. I have often considered a gel pad but never been motivated to lay the money down for one - a few posts here about gel seats seem positive.
Good luck - have you thought about adding highway pegs to stretch your legs out?
